English as a Second Language-ESL

The Delano Adult School offers English as a Second Language (ESL) to adults interested in learning English.  This class will prepare non-English speaking adults in acquiring listening, speaking and writing skills.  These classes also focus on preparing students for their citizenship test. The following is a list of class levels that are offered for ESL:

Beginning Literacy
Beginning
Intermediate
Advanced

Students are placed in class levels depending on CASAS exam scores.
