Delano Adult School is proud to have earned the Silver Medal for outstanding implementation of the Career Choices Series program for 2025-2026. This recognition reflects our school’s strong commitment to preparing students for success in postsecondary education and the workforce.

The Silver Medal acknowledges our consistent delivery of the Career Choices curriculum, as well as our success in engaging students in meaningful career exploration and educational planning. Our students actively completed key program components, including the development of individualized 10-year career and education plans, and demonstrated growth in goal setting, decision-making, and career readiness skills.

This achievement also highlights the dedication and collaboration of our staff, who work collectively to support student success through counseling, instruction, and access to community and college resources. Our ongoing partnerships, including those with Bakersfield College, further strengthen our ability to guide students through clear and achievable pathways.
