Dress Standards
Your cooperation is needed to ensure that Delano Adult School continues to be a safe learning environment for all students and staff. Listed below are student standards to help maintain a safe, gang-free school.
- No Baggy Pants
- No Sagging, dragging pants, or oversized pants (below the waist or scraping the Ground.
- Gang Symbols. No gang related symbols on clothing, including belt buckles or accessories. No belts that is extra long. No hanging suspenders. No
- visible gang related tattoos.
- Gang hat or headwear
- No gang related caps or gang related headgear such as hairnets, bandanas, especially (red or blue) doo-rags or wave caps.
- Designated sports team jackets
- No designated sports team clothes, generally black and white, such as Kings or Raiders or any other current gang affiliated clothing.
- Clothes that promote gang and violence.
- No t-shirts, hats, caps, clothes or accessories that promote drugs, violence, profanity or sex.
- No Short Skirts (higher than mid-thigh), dresses or shorts
- No Extremely low cut tops/pants
- No See through blouses, Spaghetti straps, Tube Tops, Halter Tops, and Apparel that does not cover midriff
- Any violations of the school dress code will b e addressed by teachers and or the director for discipline.
