We do not collect any personal information unless you voluntarily provide it by sending us mail, e-mail, participating in a survey, or completing a physical/on-line form. Personal information submitted will not be transferred to any non-affiliated third parties unless otherwise stated at the time of collection. When a user submits personally identifiable information it is used only for the purpose stated at the time of collection.

Consent

Where consent for the use and disclosure of personal information is required, the school will seek consent from the appropriate person. In the case of a student’s personal information, the school will seek the consent from the student and/ or parent depending on the circumstances and the student’s mental ability and maturity to understand the consequences of the proposed use and disclosure.

Media Best Practice

Throughout the year there are many opportunities for students to be photographed, or video recorded, interviewed and identified by name, classroom or school.  Please note that student's image or likeliness may appear in candid photos without any type of name identification, and the use of these candid photos are permissible.  District will make every reasonable effort to identify the primary subjects in photographs and to not publish photos containing students who have turned in a Photo and Media Opt-Out form. However, please be aware that there may be circumstances when students may be photographed or filmed beyond our control.  This policy relates to classroom activities or school events that are not already open to the public. Public events such as sporting events, performing arts productions, etc. are considered open to the public and outside photographers and videographers are not governed by this policy. You have granted the district permission to publish your child's photo unless the "Photo and Media Opt-Out Form" is turned into the school.  The form is good for the current school year.
